Bio-Based And Regenerated TPEE material

Because of the consumption of petrochemical resources, the global environmental pressure is gradually increasing. For this reason, Sunplas has made great efforts for many years and successfully developed Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer (TPEE) based on bio-based and regenerated raw materials.
The hard segment in the TPEE is the PBT which derived from regenerated PTA and bio-based BDO.
The soft segment in the TPEE is the PTMEG which derived from bio-based raw materials.

The ratio of hard segment to the soft one can be adjusted in many ways due to the need of different hardness of materials.
At present, our bio-based and regenerated TPEE has been commercialized,and we named it as "BR-TPEE” according to its characteristics of "Biobased" and "regenerated".
For example the hardness of 25 shore D BR-TPEE we made ,the bio-based components can reach above 60% and with more than 30% of regenerated materials.
And the hardness of 70 shore D BR-TPEE we made ,the bio-based components can reach above 30% and with more than 60% of regenerated materials.

Sunplas can customize BR-TPEE to meet the environmental protection requirements of various countries and industries according to the specific needs of customers for bio-based and regenerated materials. The BR-TPEE has excellent performance and can be processedby injection, extrusion,,blow molding and other methods.
