Thermoplastische polyether-ester elastomeren zijn blokcopolymeren bestaande uit een hard segment van polyester en een zacht segment op basis van polyether of polyester.polyether zacht segment en niet-kristallijn polyester omvatten amorfe fase terwijl polyester hard segment gedeeltelijk kristalliseren om kristal domein als fysieke kruispunt te vormen.

Het thermoplastische polyether-ester elastomeer combineert de gewenste elasticiteit van rubber en de sterkte van technische kunststoffen.het vertoont betere verwerkingseigenschappen en een langere levensduurHet zachte segment verleent elastisiteit aan thermoplastisch polyether-ester elastomeer en laat het zich als rubber gedragen, terwijl het harde segment verwerkings eigenschappen verleent om het net als kunststof te maken.In tegenstelling tot technische kunststoffenHet thermoplastische polyether-ester elastomeer vertoont dezelfde goede sterkte, maar een betere flexibiliteit en dynamische mechanische eigenschappen.

Ze hebben flexibiliteit bij lage temperaturen en een goede behoud van eigenschappen bij hoge temperaturen.de soorten kunnen bestand zijn tegen de corrosie veroorzaakt door sommige industriële chemicaliën, oliën en oplosmiddelen.
